Current Hispanic Baroque Research:


Technologies of Culture Line; working with Dr. Beatriz de Alba-Koch on the recovery of recently discovered manuscripts from New Spain for publication.



General Research Interests:


Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz’s innovation in her villancicos; villancicos as political and cultural vehicles, as technologies of culture and as total Baroque art; artistic and literary manifestations of marianism in New Spain; female education and knowledge during Baroque period.
